Privacy Policy

Keep Deploying ("we", "us") is a software consultancy, and we run keepdeploying.com. If you have any question about this policy or your information, email us at contact@keepdeploying.com.

We collect two kinds of information:

• What you send us. When you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us about your project. The contact form only prepares an email in your own email app. Nothing you type is sent to us until you press send there, and an unsent draft stays only in your own browser.
• How the site is used. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits: pages viewed, how far people scroll, which buttons and links are clicked, the type of device and browser, the website that sent you, and your approximate location (country and city). Google Analytics sets small files called cookies to tell visits apart. We have turned off Google's advertising features and Google signals, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

We use this information to:

• reply to your messages and prepare proposals for the work you ask about,
• understand which pages and services people find useful, and improve the site,
• keep the site secure and working well.

We do not sell your information. We do not show ads on this site, and we do not use analytics data to target ads at you.

We handle personal data in line with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR for visitors from Europe and the UK. We reply to your messages because you asked us to (taking steps towards a contract) and because it is in our legitimate interest to answer enquiries. We use analytics because it is in our legitimate interest to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

We only share information with services that help us run Keep Deploying, and only what they need:

• Google, which hosts this site (Firebase Hosting) and provides Google Analytics. Read Google's privacy policy.
• Our email provider, which stores the messages you send us.
• Authorities, only when the law requires us to.

Google and our email provider may store data on servers in other countries. They protect it with industry-standard security and contractual safeguards.

We keep emails for as long as we are talking with you and for a reasonable time afterwards for our business records. Google Analytics keeps visit data for up to 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically.

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to stop using it, or to send you a copy. Email contact@keepdeploying.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.

This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. Mentorship requests from anyone under 18 should come with a parent or guardian's knowledge.

Apps we publish on Google Play or the App Store have their own privacy policies, linked from each store listing. This policy covers only keepdeploying.com.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we will make it clear on the site.
